Williamwood High School, East Renfrewshire

For EDL we had a week of languages, where the aim was to say ‘thank you’ for all of the languages represented in the school community. 

Teachers and Erasmus students came to teach Greek, Turkish, German, Irish Gaelic, BSL and Urdu. We sent kindness postcards around the school in foreign languages. We had a fantasy football quiz league about European languages as well as learning how to play Pétanque. 

The week was topped off with a door competition where each classroom embraced a new country of the World and made their door in that theme.
