Brae High School, Shetland

On Tuesday 27th of September, we celebrated the world’s rich linguistic and cultural diversity with different activities and quizzes throughout the day. 

All our BGE classes took part in it, but also the P5/6 and 7. It was lovely to be able to welcome the primary classes back into the secondary school. One very popular activity was the European Café where the bairns could try food from France, Spain and Germany. 

We would like to thank Derry Meredith at Tesco, Coop in Brae and the Busta House who kindly sponsored the event and we are very grateful of their generosity, as it made this event possible. We are also very proud of our National 5 students who delivered a story in French to P5/6. It was received with a lot of enthusiasm and we ended the day on a high!
